Take the kids to Weald Country Park for the Stick Man Adventure Play Trail.

Based on the popular Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler picture book Stick Man. The trail is approximately 2km in length and consists of a number of climbing frames, slides, swings, Stick Man’s family tree and a giant swan’s nest. An intriguing journey through the park for children of all ages.

Following the success of the Gruffalo Trail at Thorndon Country Park, we are pleased to announce the new Stickman play trail opens at half-term 24 October 2015 – at Weald Country Park, extending our partnership with Magic Light Pictures.  This is a permanent feature of the park. It is a series of playground areas made from wood and placed throughout the park.

The trail, designed by leading natural play specialists infinite Playgrounds, brings to life the popular Julia Donaldson story Stick Man. In the story, Stick Man has many adventures in his desire to return home to his family tree.

The trail has been designed to maintain the integrity of the historic parkland and its stunning views throughout. We hope that the trail will help children and their families enjoy challenging and imaginative play.

Weald Country Park is spread over 500 acres of woodland, lakes, hay and wildflower meadows, deer park, open grassland and spectacular views.
