A great day out for all the family. You can enjoy the surroundings or follow the guided trail with points of interest and things to look out for.

Parndon wood is a beautiful woodland with an interesting trail to follow which takes you through a variety of scenery. It is very well looked after and it’s lovely to walk around on a sunny day. The staff are really friendly and helpful with information.

The children love it as there is so much to do like making dens, pond dipping, hunting for bugs, exploring the woods and more. There are three hides where you can sit and view the wildlife. There is an easier version of the woodland trail and easy-access path for children, a trail quiz, and seasonal spotter sheets.

The tea rooms serve hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks. It also doubles up as an activity hall.

They organise fun days to workdays, guided walks to evening talks. All are well advertised.

Dogs are not allowed in the reserve.
