Festival Wakeboard and Aqua Park is a state of the art wakeboarding complex situated behind Festival Leisure Park in Basildon.
The huge inflatable obstacle course opened in July 2016.
The obstacle course was part of an expansion of Festwake in Basildon and has been built on the park’s large lake. It certainly looks a lot of fun with a range of inflatables including water slides, a giant trampoline, climbing frames and a tightrope. All the inflatables are tied down and secured for safety. The water in the lake is two and a half metres deep.
Complete with its own beach, paddling area and a café, Festwake is a great day out for the whole family.
The facilities at the park are suitable for ages 6 and up. Group bookings can be made for birthday parties and stag/hen dos.
The cost for 2018 was £15 per person for an hour session, including all safety briefings and a buoyancy aid. A wetsuit can be hired on the day for an additional £5 (optional and non-refundable).

They cater for all abilities from complete beginners through to World Champions.
Along with their 660m main cable, they also have a 175m System 2.0 trainer cable which is perfect for beginners and people wanting to improve their skills.
There are qualified coaches that can teach you everything from getting on the board, hitting the kickers and rails to your first big air tricks.
