Livewire
community Theatre for young people
Established since 2001 Livewire provides performing arts to the young people of Harlow and surrounding towns.
Livewire is FREE!
We believe that young people should have access to the arts without the worry of money. As a registered charity, the funding we apply for allows us to do just that.
We currently work with almost 100 young people from the town aged 11 upwards hosting a wide range of theatre workshops including Drama, Dance, Music and Mindfulness classes.

Livewire: Mindfulness
Livewire: Mindfulness classes were introduced back in 2017 allowing us to focus on the mental health and mental state of our young people, especially those who are in their final years of school about to take their upcoming exams. We know it can be a stressful and daunting time for all so we focus on breathing techniques, visualisation and other exercises. Mindfulness classes are open space where members can talk comfortably and confidently.
Classes are small numbers, maximum 10 members per session. If you’d like to take part then please drop us an email or contact us via Facebook to reserve a space.
