The Spring Statement brought good news for  Tacking Knife Crime and Housing for Harlow residents.

We must and will stamp out knife crime. Police funding will increase by up to £970m from April. An additional £100m will be given immediately to police forces across England, ringfenced to tackle this epidemic. £23 million has been made available for Essed alone.

Last year 220,000 additional homes were built. We have introduced a £44bn program to increase house building, help-to-buy, the abolishment of  Stamp Duty for first-time buyers, and a new £3bn affordable homes guarantee scheme.

These letters from the Home Office Secretary, Sajid Javid and Housing Secretary, James Brokenshire, set out these plans in more detail.
