Hip-hop dance refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of the hip hop culture. The term ‘street’ comes from the fact that the dance styles didn’t originate in dance studios but on the streets and clubs among groups of people. Street dance also incorporates other dance styles such as Jazz, Contemporary and more making it accessible to everyone.
