Description:
Amateur Radio is one of the world’s greatest hobbies! Invented by Guglielmo Marconi who pioneered Radio communications.

Without radio, we wouldn’t have TV, Broadcast Radio, Wifi & etc!

We can talk to other Radio Amateurs locally & all over the world by using our radio equipment.

We always encourage newcomers of any age who would like to come down, have a chat, have a cup of tea/coffee and see what we do!

We also do outside public events within the Harlow area demonstrating the Amateur Radio hobby to the public during the spring/summer months.

We also offer courses for anyone to gain the first step of the Amateur Radio licence (foundation) and we can also guide and help to proceed towards gaining the further 2 steps to the Full Amateur Radio Licence.
