On location
I specialise in "on location" lifestyle shoots which means that instead of confining myself to a studio, I use the real world as my backdrop. Whether it’s in your garden, a favourite park, on the beach or in a wood, I work with the natural surroundings and light to create refreshingly relaxed, informal portraits of you and your loved ones.
Just as every family is unique so too is every photo shoot and that is what makes "on location" or "lifestyle" photography so special. You literally set the scene and I capture it. The results speak for themselves; a truly personal collection of natural images capturing the intimacy and happiness of your family uninhibited by the formality of a studio shoot.
Baby studio
Although I am passionate about lifestyle photography I appreciate that with very young children it can sometimes be a little tricky. I therefore offer shoots for babies at my child-friendly studio which has free on-site parking, changing and feeding areas and bottle warming facilities. The emphasis is still on relaxed, informal shoots and ensuring that both baby, and parents, have fun.
About me
I am an experienced, qualified member of the prestigious British Institute of Professional Photography and the Master Photographers Association. My work has been featured in a number of magazines and on BBC Radio.
Special events
If you’re not sure about "on location" photography or can’t think of a suitable location why not join me on one of my popular FREE Portrait Days? The next event takes place on Sunday April 11, 2010 at the beautiful Down Hall Country House Hotel, Hatfield Heath. The free shoot lasts 45 minutes (normal price £75) and is a fabulous opportunity to update your photos while at the same time enjoying some quality family time. Booking is essential.
