Worried about the cold? We should be. According to figures obtained by the Conservative Shadow Environment Secretary, the UK has only eight days of gas in storage, based on current usage levels. Despite repeated warnings, it seems that the Government has done little to prepare Britain for the cold winter months. It seems incredible that our gas supplies our at such precarious lows. If anything, as a gas producing nation, we should have ready supplies of gas available.
