Regular Blog readers will be aware of my campaign for an Internet Bill of Rights;  following my concerns about the 'privatised surveillance society', established by some of the advanced Internet companies.

Yesterday Cnet published a further report on the Google Wi-Fi data 'hoover-up' scandal, that became public knowledge last year.  According to Cnet, Google also mapped locations of cell phones, laptops and other Wi-Fi devices.  Until recently, Google apparently published this information on the Internet.

If this report is accurate - it is of huge significance: it suggests Google's harvesting of Wi-Fi Data , using its street-view cars, was far more extensive than previously thought.  Time for a proper investigation by the Information Commissioner, particularly since Google has been fined by France.
