Did you know that there is now a TV streaming service completely designed and optimised for iPhone and iPod Touch users.  You can get all the main UK TV channels, BBC1, BBC2, Channel 4 etc available live in your hand on any wireless network.   iPhone TV catchup.com has released a beta of their dedicated iPhone streaming service.

The service is simple to use, load up mobile Safari and visit http://iphone.tvcatchup.com   When you have signed up you should then press your + button to add it to your home screen.  After that it is really easy to use because you just click the app and select the channel you want to start watching live TV anywhere you can get wireless access.

The bad news is that for some readers the service is only available in the UK. Also make sure that you have a tariff that allows unlimited data usage as will use up a lot.

This service is still in beta but I think both the audio and picture quality are stunning.  I haven’t tried the service over GPRS yet but have heard that there could be a problem
