White Horses
The powerful ocean ebbs and flows.
I begin to dip my toes.
Peace surrounds, apart from sounds
Of sea, and breath in me.
Footprints in the sand disappear from view.
The surface once more new.
Sun glistens on the water’s surface.
A wonder of nature man cannot surpass
And gently from beyond the ocean deep
White horses rise and softly creep
Towards me in my reverie,
Inspiring dreams. My thoughts run free.
