Beaver Scouts are the younger section in the Scout Association and are boys and girls aged 6-8 years. Activities include having lots of fun making things, going on visits, making friends, doing badges and going away for a night or a sleepover.

Cub Scouts are boys and girls aged 8-10 years. They try lots of fun activities like camping, going on trips and making things.

Scouts is for young people usually aged between 10 ½ & 14 years.
Scouts take part in a wide range of activities and there are a number of challenge awards and activity badges to earn along the way. There are opportunities to learn the traditional scouting skills such as camping, survival and cooking as well as the wide range of adventurous activities, anything from abseiling to yachting.

Explorer Scouts are boys and girls aged 14-18 years. They are able to decide along with the rest of the unit what they want to do whether its power boating, socialising, hiking or enjoying a trip abroad.
They can take part in the Duke of Edinburgh as well as Scout awards.

18-25 year olds can join the scout network and take part in activities as wide ranging as kayaking, rock climbing and water skiing. They get to work with young people and help within the local community. They can take part in the Duke of Edinburgh as well as Scout awards.

GIRLGUIDING
Rainbows are the youngest section of the Girl Guiding organisation for girls aged between 5 and 7
Most rainbows enjoy a ‘sleepover’ which gives them a chance to get to know each other as well as grow in confidence and gain a sense of independence.
They get to visit places, have visitors at unit meetings, enjoy activities, play games and generally have fun.

Brownies are aged between 7 and 11. They enjoy activities, challenges, fun and friendship. Activities include fitness, arts, international etc. Sleepovers, camps and holidays. There are opportunities for personal development and they work towards badges.
