We recommend the following book
By Simon Veness If you are planning a visit to Walt Disney World in We were recommended it ourselves in 2002 when we went over to There is so much to see and do in Disney World that you really need to plan it in order not to miss the best bits. This really goes against everything we normally do when we are on holiday as we don’t like to plan anything we just like to wake up and see how we feel in the morning and can change our minds several times throughout the day about what we are going to do. When we first got the book we read through it then sat down together and very carefully planed what we wanted to do and which parks we wanted to visit and which rides we wanted to go on. The book lists all the rides and a short description of them and gives you a rough guide to which rides appeal to different age groups taking into account the height restrictions. The book will tell you how popular a ride is and the best time to go on it. First of all we took a look at the back of the book where it has the Busy Day Guide. This lists the days in the week and the Busiest, Average and Lightest days to visit the different parks. This was amazing and definitely worked. We listed the rides that we liked the sound of and took note of the ones to go on first and those that are best to use a fast pass on. When we walked into the parks in the morning we knew exactly where we were headed and did not waste too much time queuing. The parks are covered in massive detail, and the book steers you through a typical day at the parks, with a guide to the main rides, shows and places to eat, how to park and how to avoid the worst of the crowds. This book also told you about driving in It is so packed full of information and definitely one of the best travel guides we have ever read. We visited |
