A poem written by Lesley James (The Inn scribers writing group)

Love is Blind

I'm sure he sees I'm going grey,"
mused the menopausal wife,
"at least my hazel eyes will stay
attractive all my life."

Her husband didn't really mind
about her fading auburn locks,
for he was red/green colour blind
and often wore odd socks.
