Business lounge at the Hub free for business community

A free business lounge has opened for local business people at Harlow Enterprise Hub in Edinburgh Way.

The facility, which is operated by enterprise support specialists NWES, is situated on the ground floor of the Hub and has been developed as an alternative area for both tenants and business guests to 'catch-up' and hold meetings.

Alice Henderson, administration co-ordinator at the Hub explains:  "We wanted to take genuine measures to support the Harlow business community, not only by offering flexible accomodation, but also a free social environment where people can meet, relax and engage with others.  It's important that businesses have suitable space to drop-in and carry out their activities when they are on the move and between meetings.  Our business model for the Hub is to offer where we can, added value to our tenants and visitors.  The Lounge is one such example and we hope it will help businesses to develop new contracts and working relationships, particularly in the lead up to Christmas when informal business gatherings tend to occur."

The business loung, which has been furnished with comfortable seating and tables, can accomodate up to 16 business visitors at any one time and offers free Wi-fi access, tea and coffe servings, free and convenient parking along with preferential rates for the Hub's other formal meeting and video-conferencing facilities.

Opened in 2008, Harlow Enterprise Hub provides modern business accomodation, 1-to-1 enterprise support, virtual tenancy and conference facilities.  The building currently houses 47 tenant companies and is the result of a partnership between Harlow Council, Harlow Renaissance and the East of England Development Agency.

Anyone wishing to use the free business lounge should drop int to the Hub or call the administration co-ordinator on 01279 311400.  www.nwes.org.uk
