Local Links is a charity which runs a club in Bishops Stortford for all people regardless of age of disability which aims to promote independent and healthy living encouraging people to become active in the community and to build stronger social bonds.

Local Links wants to enable individuals to develop their skill sets to benefit themselves creating projects and opportunities that generate a sense of self-worth.

We provide a hot meal; a tiffin (afternoon tea), exercise, activities, games, theme days, day trips, guest speakers, computer training and art and crafts.

Local links aims to avoid exclusion to possibly our most over looked in society.

We hold the club at Havers Lane Community Centre, Bishops Stortford on a Monday 1-4pm and Parsonage Lane Community Hall, Bishops Stortford on a Friday 12.15 – 3.15pm.

We provide specialist transport with a carer in attendance targeting the isolated areas.
