Theatregoers can now go online to keep up to date with the latest news, shows, events and information following the launch of The Victoria Hall Theatre's brand new website - www.victoriahalltheatre.co.uk
The Victoria Hall Theatre has been a hive of activity since the Association that runs it bought the venue from Essex County Council at the beginning of the year. Since that time there have been a huge variety of shows put on in the theatre, the majority of which are staged by local companies, just proving how Harlow still has a huge amount of talent and expertise in both performance and technical aspects of theatre.
The launch of the website heralds in an exciting new season of shows at the theatre, including Harlow Theatre Company's production of Richard Harris' "Outside Edge" next week, Sawbridgeworth Players production of "Pack Of Lies" in November, and this year's Christmas show "Alice In Wonderland", written and directed by Paul Johnson and Keith Mardell.
"We hope the new site will bring new faces to the theatre and give existing theatregoers up-to-date, easy to access information for shows and events. We also hope that local businesses will contact us to advertise on the site, bringing in much needed revenue to keep the building running smoothly and allowing us to carry on with the renovation work we have already started." said Martin Colton, committee member and website designer.
Jim Thompson, a Harlow Theatre Company committee member, said "I'm really impressed with the new site, it now makes it easier to see what going on at the place. I hope this new online presence works for the theatre. It a terrific venue and the people often say how much they prefer the place to the West End, hopefully more audiences will enjoy what it has to offer... now people can find it on the Internet!"
And The Victoria Hall Theatre hasn't just stopped at a website; The venue can also be found on Facebook & Twitter.
